Overview

Similar to the Hybrid model, a Digital Twin has 2 main tabs,

• Simulator. Where all simulation configurations/setup is provided.

• Report. Where simulations results can be visualized/explored.

Create

A Digital Twin, can be,

• Created from scratch (without Hybrid model). Digital Twin is created from scratch. Any process can be simulated taking advantage of the Custom Code.

• Created from an Hybrid Model. Hybrid model is exported from its report section into the Digital Twin.

From scratch

From within the toolbox, select Project -> Add Digital Twin. A pop up will appear where digital twin name is provided. After that, empty digital twin will be created and ready to be used.

Created digital twin will consist of 3 sections,

• Simulation Parameters

• Constant/Simulated variables

• Custom Code

From existing Hybrid Model

Existing Hybrid models can be exported to the Digital Twin. When doing so, a digital twin wrapping that specific model is automatically created for you. To do so, navigate to the Hybrid model report section, and click on the Export button. A dialog will pop up asking for,

• Export to. Select Digital Twin

• Model(s). Select one or multiple models to export.

  Note

  When exporting more than one model, you are exporting a bootstrapped/aggregated model.

Created digital twin will consist of 4 sections,

• Simulation Parameters

• Output variables

• Constant/Simulated variables

• Custom Code
